Travelling by car …
The main access to Brentwood Bowling Club is in Ingrave Road (A128) about three-quarters of a mile south of the town centre (Wilsons Corner). Although there is car parking just inside King George’s Playing Fields, club visitors are advised to continue for 350 yards where parking is usually available close to the club entrance.
There is an alternative entrance to King George’s on Hartswood Road where further parking is available. The club entrance is a 300-yard walk from the car park.
Free parking for club visitors
Free parking is available for bowls players at King George’s Playing Fields for up to four hours. For all-day events, parking is free in the unsurfaced overflow car park. Bowls players who are going to team events not being held at King George’s, should not use the car parks which are intended for park visitors.
Warning: Vehicle owners face penalty charges for parking outside bay markings, returning within two hours, failing to display a blue badge and other contraventions (see notices in car parks).
