The 2018 season got underway at Brentwood Bowling Club with a mixed drive on Saturday 21st April when 20 players took part, with four triples and two fours playing up to 16 ends.
The men’s pre-season meeting on Saturday 7th April was declared a general meeting to allow for the adoption of a modified constitution document and club rules.

As Brentwood’s first BDBA fixture is a rest game, men’s captain Fred Wasmuth will be organising a warm-up triples game on Monday 14th May 2018 at 5.30pm. The first league game will be Brentwood v Romford on 21st May.

The indoor friendly between Brentwood Bowling Club and Havering on Sunday 26th November will now be played on five rinks. Players will need only two woods.
The His and Hers competition for married couples is being suspended due to a decline in the number of eligible players at the club.
