Joy Egleton has written to the club following the recent death of husband Harry.
The indoor friendly between Brentwood Bowling Club and Havering on Sunday 26th November will now be played on five rinks. Players will need only two woods.
The His and Hers competition for married couples is being suspended due to a decline in the number of eligible players at the club.
