Brentwood have won the Jim Philpot Trophy by three shots in a closely fought annual competition against Kings Chase on Thursday 24th August.

Host captain Rob Fleming presented the trophy to Brentwood men’s captain Fred Wasmuth who thanked him for his warm welcome and hospitality. Fred spoke of the special relationship between the two clubs and said it was important to keep the competition going.
Fred presented a small bottle of gin and captain’s pen to each member of his top winning rink – Dave Sach, Peter Wilson, Byron Davies and Harry Egleton.
In the past, the trophy was contested by the two clubs over two legs, one home and one away, but from this year, the format has been changed to a single game. Next year, Brentwood will be hosts.
