Around 60 members and guests attended a spectacular evening of magical entertainment in the clubhouse at Brentwood Bowling Club on Saturday 8th April 2017.

A team of 10 amateur and professional magicians took part in the event organised by members of the social committee.

The evening started with close-up magic and each of the eight tables of guests witnessed some mind-blowing tricks and illusions from four different acts.

After a break for a fish or chicken supper, the entertainers, all members of the Ilford Magical Society, staged a three-act cabaret show.

Kate Davies thanked the performers for an excellent evening’s entertainment and invited the audience to join her in showing appreciation with a round of applause.
