Goodchild Trophy 2015

The Goodchild Trophy has been won by Central Essex who gained a convinciing vistory over Brentwood in this year’s mixed triples competition between the two clubs which share facilities at King George’s Playing Fields.

Brentwood men’s captain Ricard Rose presented the silverware to Mick Stradling after the second leg of the competition on Thursday 10th September.

The trophy was donated by Central Essex player Oliver Goodchild and his wife Doreen and was first played for in 1996, with Brentwood winning every year apart from 2007.
